we are currently using http://www.opencsw.org on top of solaris to have as little work as possible with opensource stuff. then install sunstudio, and the apache-dev package. after that just compile mod_wsgi. if you want i can mail you the binary.
except one small glitch concerning edgewall trac everything works fine up to now. and for the glitch we also have a workaround now, thanks to graham. rupert.
