Hmmm, that package could be a good vehicle for the sort of statistics accumulation I wanted to do for mod_wsgi for purposes of being able to tune processes/threads being used. I started adding some raw statistics accumulation in mod_wsgi itself, but simply don't have time to do it properly so going to rip it back out for now so can get 3.0 released. Rather than add it back in again in future that package might be enhanced instead. I perhaps should talk to you separately about what I saw as needed for what I have in mind.
