I read in Brandon Rhodes book about using Cherokee to proxy Apache serving wsgi applications. It seemed like a good idea, and I have some familiarity with Apache. Now I seem to have entered a morass where I am confused about configuring the proxy to talk to Apache and to configure Apache to serve multiple apps. I have become overwhelmed with looking through documentation, so I wonder if anyone can suggest what I can read to understand how url's are passed from front to back and how the back handles several of them.
