I've just started looking at wsgi and django and following this example from Kevan Stannard<http://blog.stannard.net.au/2010/12/11/installing-django-with-apache-and-mod_wsgi-on-ubuntu-10-04/> .
I'm not on ubuntu, but red-hat and building everything from source (several times now!)
