If desperate, you could get a stack trace out of the process by attaching
gdb to it as documented in:

http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/wiki/DebuggingTechniques#Debugging_Crashes_With_GDB

and executing 'thread apply all bt' in gdb.

This sort of problem usually occurs due to sub interpreters, but you are
already forcing use of main interpreter in that daemon process group.

Have you done the obvious of ensuring not loading mod_python into same
Apache. It can cause odd issues like this.
