I long ago converted them to RestructuredText and even had them on ReadTheDocs for a while. I was trying to restructure them in the process though and never completed it. When I did mod_wsgi express I took them down from ReadTheDocs again though and just put back the release notes which are now part of the mod_wsgi package itself.
I therefore need to restart that process of that migration to ReadTheDocs, but what I have learnt is that people don't read reference documentation these days unless they are desperate. So what is really needed is new starter docs in the form of tutorials for common tasks. These solution based docs is all people seem to look for these days. On top of tutorials what I want to create is cluebat documentation. This is specific documents which address quite specific issues which are common problems. For example, why you should not stick project code under DocumentRoot. The idea is that links to these could then be dropped in StackOverflow as necessary to club people over the head with (answer questions) and stop the constant receptive answers, and possibly wrong answers, that always get posted. I am at a conference this weekend, but I should look at getting a schedule for doing this sorted out.
