Daemon mode is definitely the better option as resource usage is more
predictable. Daemon mode also has a lot more configuration options to help in
building a resilient system. Just note that various of these options aren’t
enabled by default if using plain mod_wsgi because it is hard to change
defaults from the past once set. The mod_wsgi-express variant has a better set
of defaults.
