I'm a little confused as to what a device represents, the mogilefs home page states that "MogileFS replicates the files between devices which are on different hosts", so what is the use-case for having multiple devices on one host?Regards, Jon
Device is a harddrive or logical volume. Mogile folks tend to JBOD and add each disk independently, since there's no reason to waste money on raid.
