Having picked up my son from school at lunchtime today, I took him to a local pub for lunch. The pub The Black Horse Checkendon * http://www.thegoodpubguide.co.uk/pub/view/Black-Horse-RG8-0TE* is best described as 'unspoilt' - no music, outside Gents, draft ale via gravity, only one lager tap - I guess you know the style.
