Hi Adrian I have these blocks on my +8 to centre the wheels in the arches. I think the very slight lowering is a symptom not the reason to fit them as the +8 gearbox hoop is too low anyway on 65 profile tyres. I did all 3 together tramps, p'rod and blocks. I even notice the difference in a straight line and the steering has much more feeling especially at speed as the back end isn't squirming about. Mine used to tramp dreadfully, but not anymore. Danger now is wearing out rear tyres as traffic lights are so much more fun! I had wondered this his would be an issue as she has been round the block a few times. But seriously they do not seem to have had any effect, The blocks supplied by Mulberry are an about 6 inches long and the width off the springs and 3/4 inch high, the new U-bolts are about 33% larger than the originals clamping the axle to the spring, so much stiffer. It seems to work fine, I have pushed Rosie quite hard on few occasion on take off and braking and have not noticed or felt any rear end bounce. In fact she keeps her rear end in shape quite well.
