Ron,
Thanks for reminding me! I'd forgotten to put in my entry form. Will send it
off today.

Cheers,
Owen.

Thanks to all who responded to my `Being a Judge` bit. A lot of good tips
which have been gratefully noted.

  Owen,
Hans` Aero ? Just depends which class I judge, but must not let admiration
cloud my judgement.
Just got my entry for GTM on 22nd. Are you going to be there ?
.It will be dry this time won`t it !
  Cheers
  Ron.

And remember to make sure Hans's Aero 8 wins a prize.

    Cheers,
    Owen.

      Ron
Just be fair to all, and be prepared to justify your choices.
Try to take an objective view of each car/vehicle and look at as it is
presented, without letting views about that particular vehicle colouring your
views.
Keep notes of everything on your checkboard, and trust your judgement.

      Good luck

      Andy

        Hi all.
I`ve been asked to be a judge at our local Rally held at Brodie Castle
in August. I have done it in the past usually at short notice. But this time
with more time for preparation I wonder if I might prevail upon the wisdom of
Mogtalkers to give me a few tips .
There are usually around 200 entries varying from Stanley Steamers of
the early 1900`s up to such as Cobra`s both real and replica. We usually have a
team of Judges taking on different classes which lightens the work load
somewhat.
I would be grateful for any recommendations so that without being too
nit picking we may arrive at a fair and unbiased conclusion.
For instance, do we let the entrants know we are looking at their car
or do we do an ` Inspector Clouseau` type of operation.
        Looking forward to your comments
        Ron.
