Yes, there are car dealers and there again, there are real Morgan dealers.  

Keeping track of the whims of those at the factory is hard even for the 
factory. I have much sympathy for those in the spares dept. there. 

If a dealer does Morgans as one of several makes he represents, the chances of 
him knowing much about these significant but confusing changes are quite small. 
Real Morgan dealers also learn to recognize those they might BS and those who 
are genuinely knowledgeable enthusiasts. With the internet today and 
opportunities for negative publicity spreading like wildfire, they take the 
risk of mistaking one for the other at their peril.

What amazes me is how Morgan still get away with the quality problems that we 
see reported on Mogtalk so often. I love my Morgans and I like the people who 
build them, but there are still far too many faults allowed to get through. A 
friend up here recently gave up on Morgans after his succession of exasperating 
experiences with a sequence of new cars (I think he had 4 in about six years). 
He's gone for the quiet, reliable life with Mercedes. Whether his increasingly 
vociferous exchanges with the factory led to his heart attack, I'm not sure.
