My 4/4 has the registration E166 TUG. I was asked by a "cherished plate" owner what its significance was, since it was obviously a special number. I explained that E was for early 1988, UG was a Leeds registration (the car was originally sold by Otley Motors) and the rest was pot luck. He wasn't amused.
So far as I am concerned, the DVLA gets enough of my money in road tax on four cars. Cheers, Owen. ----- Original Message ----- From: Brian Howatson To: mogtalk2 Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2012 1:00 AM Subject: Re: [mogtalk2] Interesting/ appropriate number plates DVLA had MOR 34N and V31GHT for auction a couple of weeks ago with reserves of £400 and £250 respectively I think.!
