I have just bought an MGB expansion tank and plan to fit it on top of the off side foot well - just in front of the tool box. The installation process has lost 6 weeks due to a combination of circumstances (including my inability to wield a spanner for several weeks). It was only at the weekend that I got around to working out the installation details. If all goes to plan, I should be able to make some progress now - however SWMBO has plans for my spare time that may slow me down even more.
The Kent engined car in the Concours at Gaydon had the expansion tank on top of the nearside footwell. It looked like an MGB tank but, unless the dimensions changed from Kent to CVH engined cars, now I am not so sure. I believe Morgan used a Range-Rover part.
