These were post WW2 cars described in John Bolster's book "Specials". Key 
designer was Dick Caesar who was pivotal in the "FreiKaiserwagen", along with 
Joe Fry of the "Fry's" confectionery company lineage. The name Iota was derived 
from Class I of the international records category for cars of 350-500cc. Many 
Iotas had a Morgan front end. Sadly the FreiKaiserwagen story ended in tragedy.


The photograph shown has some very modern features, I have no idea what has 
taken place in the intervening years.
