Hi Folks. A number of Cranmoggers, AKA ' The Vagabonds' will be
making their various and devious ways to La Sarthe again next year for
the annual pilgrimage to watch the Le Mans 24hr race over the weekend
of 22/23 June.

The 2013 race gives us two reasons to celebrate.

Firstly and foremost, it is the 75th anniversary of the first Morgan to
race at Le Mans. In 1938, Miss Prudence Fawcett entered a 1098 c.c.
4/4 with considerable success. She and co-driver Geoffrey White
finished 13th out of 42 starters. Glasses will be raised to her in the
Tertre Rouge Bar at midnight on Saturday 22nd June.

Secondly, it is the 80th running of this iconic race. So we can expect
a bit of razzmatazz from the A.C.O organisers.

If you have attended this event before, you know what a great time is
had by one and all and will be champing at the bit to go again. If
you've never been, DO IT before it is too late. You will be talking
about it for years to come.

We plan to camp in the EXPO campsite across the road from the main
entrance. These are our infamous 'cow shed' headquarters where we rough
it very smoothly.

If you are planning to go or would like any hints/tips, just drop me a
line off group and I will try and help to point you in the right
direction.

Hope to see you there.

Best regards

Dallas Jones
