I think these were dealer fitted as I complained the factory units on my last car did not adjust as they should. No idea “from whence they came” and await a reaction from Phil Ledgerwood. It might be that there is a bad batch around? Cheers – David. Driving down to the New Forest for a short break, the glass loosened in the nearside mirror and before I had a chance to slow down, it disappeared into thin air! The mirrors were from Librands - Rob suggested checking the other mirror which was also loose, and he has readily agreed to provide two replacement mirror heads. If yours were factory originals it might be worth checking to see if they will do the same. Driving along in my Roadster yesterday heard a “ping” and thought nothing more until I noticed the drivers wing mirror reflector had disappeared!
