In this month's (Sep 2012) Professional Engineering (The Journal of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers), on pages 24 - 27, there is an article about Morgan. It mentions production techniques and the Plus E programme. Matthew Humphries talks about the possibility of having Euro 5 or 6 to go into London. Charles Morgan is looking at producing about 1000 three wheelers per year. The use of more magnesium alloy and sheet magnesium is being considered.
My view, for what it's worth, is that I would avoid magnesium alloy. Aero wheels have a limited life due to cracking. On Plus Fours with the Moss box, the connecting magnesium alloy casing has been known to catch fire. Regarding the magnificent IFS by HFS; perhaps some current recent owners may not wish to know about greasing every 1000 miles; maybe leading to its demise.
