Owen,
In case you hadn`t heard, there`s a gathering of cars at Buckie on Sunday.
There`s website buckiecarshow etc. Last year was the first year it was held
and 110 turned up. This year it`s been advertised so should be a cracker of a
meet. It was everything from Bentleys to Bugatti last time, plus the odd Morgan.
Tell a`body !
Ron.

Somehow I can't see this working very well when driving from Aboyne to Port
Gordon.

In less than 25 years, cars will not only be able to drive themselves, they
will work together with other cars to drive in closely-spaced convoys, saving
fuel and reducing congestion. All the necessary technology is available today.
You'll be able to get into your car, program the navigation system with
your destination, and then settle back and read a newspaper whilst it takes you
to your destination.
Don't believe me? Well, If 25 years ago I had described a Smart Phone and
all its capabilities, what would the reaction to that have been?
Tim
