When I spoke with my mot man earlier this week he said that when a 'fail' is
recorded then further data about the car has to be entered and this in turn
reveals the limits for this particular vehicle. Then the tester can really
fail the vehicle!

That's OK Gerry because the upper Lambda for Mogs is really 1.05!!!

Just had my 2000reg Zetec 4/4 tested-
Fast idle test at engine speed 2,500- 3,000 rpm
CO limits less than 0.200% actual value 0.000%
HC limits less than 200 ppm actual value 10 ppm
lambda limits 0.970- 1.030 actual value 1.030

Natural idle test at engine speed 450- 1,500 rpm
CO limits less than 0.300% actual value 0.000%

Happily, it passed OK, easily met CO and HC requirements, but only just
squeaked in the lambda!
