Anyway it looked in very good condition and well looked after when I went up to see it, but I was unable to get underneath to have a good look at the chassis or check the front wheels for any play. My Wife drove the car but it then started very heavy rain so although I had been driven a good distance in the car I never got to actually drive it. I know that is not the ideal way to purchase but it just seemed to good to miss! The seller has coated the underneath in black Waxoil but assures me there was no corrosion and I have nothing to fear. The way my Bank is going it will probably be late next week now before the funds have transferred and I can pick up the car. I am still trying to persuade SWMBO that I can keep the Stag as well but think I am fighting a lost cause.
