Hi Ron I am the proud owner of an ancient Westerly Fulmar, in my view, the best sailing boat that Westerly ever made. She is ten years older than my 4/4 though.
It has been an awful season but we have been very lucky with our weather. We normally crane out at the end of October. Are you a sailor too Glynn ? What are you sailing ? I`ve a rattly old Eventide which due to a bevy of circumstances has only been out a couple of times this season, and they`re already talking of craning out. These days I can`t run fast enough to keep up. Cheers Ron. ----- Original Message ----- >From: Glynn Jones >To: mogtalk2 >Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2012 12:06 PM >Subject: Re: [mogtalk2] Any old matelots out there ? > > >Can't match that but I circumnavigated the IOW this weekend Pompey - >Bembridge Ledge - Alderney - Needles Channel - Pompey. > >Glynn > > >________________________________ > From: Brian Cowell <f.brian.cow...@gmail.com> >To: mogtalk2 <mogtalk2@listbox.com> >Sent: Tuesday, 11 September 2012, 11:54 >Subject: Re: [mogtalk2] Any old matelots out there ? > > >Congratulations Ron. > >In 1962 I had a 1937 Singer Le Mans, four seater.
