I have also had a persistent spammer with username caim.*
Since they are not writing sensible content, I had to block the script
in htaccess:
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} ^124\.72\.85\.206$ [OR]
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} ^220\.160\.179\.76$ [OR]
