Just a follow up to my previous post. I was using an old 7.10 Moin installation guide. The most recent I believe installation instructions is now at
https://help.ubuntu.com/8.10/serverguide/C/moinmoin.html and with this guide (after removing all instances of the bad install and previous versions)., I was able to run the moinmoin app. Thanks for a great software. I have to be more familiar with it as I am with Wordpress.
