Thus, you maybe shouldn't try to automatically kill everything that is not referenced by some wiki page, it is not technically required that there is a link from a page for every attachment (same for pages: they also can exist an be used without being linked from anywhere). That said, it could be a valid policy for a wiki, that non-linked attachments are to be considered dead and to be removed.
