After adding a lot of pages to our wiki, the RecentChanges page becomes extremely slow.
- Moin 1.9.2 - Apache 2.2 - Python 2.6 - Ubuntu Jaunty - Xapian 1.0.14 I googled about a bit, including a look at http://moinmo.in/HowTo/Tune%20Performance but nothing seems entirely helpful. I assume the main problem is the fact that the default is to get all items for N days, and not to limit by number. Is there a way to change that default? Also, even if so, I'd have expected Xapian to help, by using a last-updated index. Do we need to flip special levers to make that happen?
