I finally figured out what was wrong. Apparently the default behavior
of the EventCalendar Plug in changed to disable changeview. I had
never  expected that. With <<EventCalendar(changeview=1,showerror=1)>>
everything is normal again. But it is irritating. I think this should
be changed back to make changeview=1 the default.
