It seems that by specifying the RE (.+ matches all except newline) for a
placeholder turns off format recognition, it is a viable explanation?
What if I want to restrict the matching characters but have the format
recognition working? (but this seems a broader question to the Mojolicious
team :)
Anyway, lesson learned and code updated!
