Good that your issue got resolved, but... you'll hate me for this, but
why use DATA templates? If you've got a full app you might as well go
the full monty and store your templates separately. If you're building
things up so they can be packed into a PAR archive, there's ways to get
the templates in there properly too, I've got a build command line for
that hanging around somewhere...
