Now I write my own Wordpress clone for a studying perl, mojo and postgresql. I have some experience in C# Asp.Net MVC. One of asp.net mvc features is calling of methods, or passing variables to layout file. As example - in my asp. project I have a this helpers: 1 - generate top nav bar (list for menu items generated by .net reflections) 2 - generate side menus.
Now this 'helpers' I must use in my page code, not in layout file.
