Yes. Mojolicious::Plugin::Authentication->validate_user using your
code. I'm sure that coderef in 'validate_user' contain usage of
connection to DB/LDAP/etc.
You try to check the connection to the remote service with which
validation occurs. Try restore connection If it terminated.
