The overlap doesn't seem bad; I would think a typed placeholder could also
have restrictions (e.g an int placeholder later restricted to a certain
number of digits).

I also think it would be cool to use a custom symbol before an identifier as
a way of specifying the type. e.g. sample perl6 code that matches Δfoo to a
