Both the 'GET / HTTP/1.0' and 'HEAD / HTTP/1.0' entries return the following when I telnet to port 80:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Date: Fri, 07 Dec 2001 16:53:13 GMT Content-type: text/html Page-Completion-Status: Normal Page-Completion-Status: Normal Set-Cookie: CFID=37780; expires=Sun, 27-Sep-2037 00:00:00 GMT; path=/; Set-Cookie: CFTOKEN=4038694; expires=Sun, 27-Sep-2037 00:00:00 GMT; path=/; then the rest of the html document.... It appears that the script fails before sending the HTTP request, but I'm not sure on how to go about verifying this, or what my options are to see where it may be failing, or it may be some other cause. am At 06:35 PM 12/6/2001 -0800, Jim Trocki wrote: >On Thu, 6 Dec 2001, Alex Melkomukov wrote: > > > can anybody point me in the right direction for figuring out why the > > http.monitor script comes back with an alert with no detailed text for a > > win2k iis server, even though it is up an functioning normally? > > > > thanks in advance, > >what is the output if you telnet to port 80 on the IIS box and >type "GET / HTTP/1.0" ? > >if you supply a different URL to http.monitor via "-u" then substitute >that with the "/" from above. also, let us know what that url is. __________________________________________________________________ Alex Melkomukov [EMAIL PROTECTED] Navi.Net http://www.navi.net 618 NW Glisan St., Ste. 101 voice 503-517-8866 Portland, OR 97209 USA fax 503-517-8868 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
