Hi all.

I'm trying to do a thing like :
- do something and let me know when you have finished (with a mon trap)
- if mon doesn't get the trap in a reasonable period of time, the service is 
considered failed.

Here is a piece of my mon.cf:

watch Backup
     service bkServerA
        description Backup server A
        period wd {Mon-Sat}
          # start backup trap arrived
          alert exit=2 severity=2 file.alert /var/log/mon/backupsvc.log
          # After 5 hours we consider backup is taking too long to complete...
          alert exit=1 severity=1 mail_mailinglist.alert MON_MAIL_BACKUP_STATUS
            # end backup trap arrived       
          upalert mail_mailinglist.alert -u MON_MAIL_BACKUP_STATUS
          alertafter 5h
          alertevery 24h

Things seems not to work with alertafter: if mon doesn't get the trap in 5 hours, the 
alert is not triggered.

Any idea?
