What disturbs you?

Getting the answer right there in the message:

> Check the required modules. Download and follow the installation
> instructions - for perl modules, the usual convention (after
unpacking)
> is "perl Makefile.PL; make; make test; make install".

or being told to do your homework and read the book first before wasting
everybody's time?

> Read the docs at www.cpan.org, in particular
http://www.cpan.org/misc/cpan-faq.html.

including the detail URL that I looked up for the occasion?

... you should know or be able to find out (e.g. from my message) how to
install perl modules.

> "why bother with online news groups at all" ...

Exactly. Do not pass GO. Do not use free software.
Spend $$$ on a commercial product and bother their support.
Do not thank them - after all, THEY get paid for it.

Hi,

Did you ever get an answer to your mon modules question? I am slogging
through the same mess; and as a working sys admin I need to get things
done fast.

Peter's answer disturbed me because if the answer is basically .. read
the book .. why bother with online news groups at all.

Thanks,

Alana
