I'm glad at least one person is reading my posts on this list :-) Alas, this has happened before (people re-implementing stuff for mon because for one reason or another, the patches submitted weeks or months earlier didn't make it into the release). It has been a long time since the last release of Mon (September 2001), and there seems to be no way to see intermediate versions of what Jim (or Andrew?) has committed since then, so this will probably continue to happen until we start using Sourceforge or the like. > Since Jim'd mailed me saying he'd committed the previous two patches I'd > sent, this one is relative to them. Ahem. So Jim, you're committing his patches but not mine? :-) :-) > diff -r -X /home/roderick/.diff-exclude -u base.3/mon.d/fping.monitor >base.4/mon.d/fping.monitor > --- base.3/mon.d/fping.monitor Fri Jun 7 13:04:22 2002 > +++ base.4/mon.d/fping.monitor Fri Jun 7 14:28:56 2002 Roderick, in the interests of lazy sysadmins, could you post the whole thing? -- Ed (Patches? We don't need no steenking patches!) PS: what's with ftp.kernel.org? no ftp, no http, but finger works.
