I've got an item on my todo list to report this as well, but was waiting
until I could do some experimentation to find out exactly how long the
output had to be to break the client.

SunOS xxxxxxxxxx 5.7 Generic_106541-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60
This is perl, v5.6.1 built for sun4-solaris
my $RELEASE='$ProjectVersion: mon-0-99-2.6 $';

Only minor changes to mon itself.

The symptoms I see are:

Mon::Client calls fail with a timeout
moncmd list opstatus works fine
The scheduler chugs along just fine
