Sounds like you have an old version on Mon::Client. Check to make sure you
have the latest version installed. The checkauth method was added for
mon.cgi so that a client could find out if they were authorized for a
particular action without actually attempting the action (e.g. finding
out "Am I allowed to reset the mon server" without resetting the mon
server).
