I posted a question late last week but it seems to have gotten lost...(think I had the wrong address subscribed).
Anyway, I've been looking at trying to do get user authentication working with https.monitor and a suggestion I read on this list archive was to pass the username and password in as part of the URL. But I'm not sure how to do this exactly. I think I would need to do something like https://rafe.slattery:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/protected But from reading https.monitor there is a call to Net::SSLeay::get_https("$site", "$port", "$path")) which I cant really use.
