Just wondering how this directory (/var/lib/mon) is supposed to be used? Is this used by mon or intended to be used by alerts/monitors to keep state data?
This seems very useful to have. For example, I would like to keep a counter or the number of alarms within a configurable amount of time. Naturally, this would need to be kept in a file in a directory somewhere.
