Summary: Memory leaks when querying

Initial Comment:
I've got a query that returns some 260K rows. Every time I run it, my memory
use goes up 10-20Megs (and doesn't come back down).

Am attaching valgrind logs for the same query (but returns a smaller set). It
is showing leakage.

Although your valgrind output indeed shows we leak it doesn't tell where.
Probably you didn't run with memcheck and all of the required flags. Could
you re-run valgrind?
