Summary: XQ: property error on 64-bit Darwin - big-endian related?

Initial Comment:
The following three tests fail only in 64-bit Darwin
(MacOS X) with

ERROR = !WARNING: BATpropcheck: BAT tmp_556(366) was
incorrectly marked keyed!

http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/pathfinder/.mTests103/GNU.64.64.d-Darwin8.8.0/tests_Update/symm-test-5.err.00.html
http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/pathfinder/.mTests103/GNU.64.64.d-Darwin8.8.0/tests_W3C_use_cases_XQUF_R/Q7.out.00.html
http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/pathfinder/.mTests103/GNU.64.64.d-Darwin8.8.0/tests_W3C_use_cases_XQUF_R/Q7x.out.00.html

This *could* be a 64-bit big-endian related problem
either in some code setting BAT properties
(incorrectly) or in BATpropcheck itself.

Message:
right --- well, in fact, I personally and MonetDB testing currently don't
have access to any MacOS X machine at all.
(details via personal communication, if required/desired)

to be more precise: "we don't have access to any 64-bit big-endian Darwin
machine"

Lowered priority, as we don't have access to any 64-bit Darwin machine,
anymore.

Most probably since its addition on Dec 14 2006,

http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/pathfinder/.mTests103/GNU.64.64.d-Darwin8.8.0/tests_Update/replacevaluetest.err.00.html

fails only on 64-bit Darwin with

!ERROR: [swizzle]: tmp_424 contains illegal offsets.

Since Friday Nov 17 2006, i.e., after checkins on Thursday Nov 16 2006,
test
http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/pathfinder/.mTests103/GNU.64.64.d-Darwin8.8.0/tests_W3C_use_cases_XQUF_R/Q7.out.00.html

work fine also on 64-bit Darwin;

however since then, tests
http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/pathfinder/.mTests103/GNU.64.64.d-Darwin8.8.0/tests_BugTracker/insert_multiple.SF-1590580.out.00.html

fail with the above BATpropcheck warning/error only on 64-bit Darwin
(these tests used to fail (differently) on all platform before, but the
respective bugs were fixed by Sjoerd on Thursday Nov 16 2006).
