Category: Core Group: MonetDB Common CVS Head Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Roberto Cornacchia (cornuz) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: wrong histogram() Initial Comment: Found by chance while looking into a problem with pftijah term dictionary, the HEAD seems to compute wrong histograms on string bats. Nov2009 branch seems correct. In attachment, the files needed to run a test. It indexes a small xml file and then inspects the terrm dictionary. Just source the runme.bash file (it just moves the xml file in /tmp and runs Mserver with the test mil script) I don't think this is related to pathfinder at all, but this was the easiest way to create a reproducible test. I suspect the bug is in gdk, as it may be related to the recent changes that store hash values in string heaps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=482468&aid=2931465&group_id=56967 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Monetdb-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/monetdb-bugs
