Initial Comment:
Currently \d is only available as part of mclient and indirectly by the
enriched APIs. To create self-contained SQL scripts for dump/restor portions,
it would be helpful if the DESCRIBE option was available as a SQL statement. In
line with EXPLAIN, TRACE, DEBUG.
