Peter,
"datadir" is "datadir", just as individual as prefix, exec_prefix, libdir,
etc., and hence not (necessarily) identical to exec_prefix.
IMHO, you should set
[EMAIL PROTECTED]@
instead of
[EMAIL PROTECTED]@
