what are valid characters that can go into the char fields? i am trying to
migrate from mysql 4.1 and my data doesn't make it in. If i strip out some
the the characters it makes it. The string is C�e dIvoire. which is the
ivory coast. its a pain to clense, but i just wanted to know what a valid
character is.
