My application's intended audience are school teachers and students, many 
of them located in developing countries. They would appreciate pre-built 
Windows and Linux (including 32-bit) executables.

I ended up including the old 3.7 Windows executable I downloaded under the 
MIT license back in August 2013. I also built 32-bit and 64-bit Linux 
executables based on this source:

to which I added the required 2.4.6 YASSL source available here:

I also had to do some Makefile customizations.
