Hi, first of all thanks for this great tool !
My Problem with monit 4.6: I use the fault tolerant monitoring like : check process sshd with pidfile /var/run/sshd.pid start program "/etc/init.d/sshd start" stop program "/etc/init.d/sshd stop" if failed port 22 protocol ssh with timeout 10 seconds for 3 times within 3 cycles then restart If the process fails, it is noticed by monit and restarted. The problem is, that after recovery, monit logs every cycle the "connection passed" statement like: [CET Dec 13 13:04:43] 'sshd' connection passed [CET Dec 13 13:05:43] 'sshd' connection passed [CET Dec 13 13:06:43] 'sshd' connection passed Monit does this until I reload or restart monit. This happens with any service I use with the fault tolerant monitoring option. I don't want the Log-Files to grow that much and I think that one "connection passed" is enough. How can I avoid monit acting like this ? Thanks in advance Regards Tim -- To unsubscribe: http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/monit-general
