OK. I figured this one out. I didn't knew I should do "./monit reload"  so
it would refresh it's database. However, I still have the problem that when
I do "./monit start all" from the command, I get "Cleattext credentials
needed for basic authorization!" which I guess means that I need to supply
the user and password somehow.

Then your monit is buggy. Mine doesn't behave that way.
