The problem is, that the statefile and idfile are placed in the event
queue directory. The error message is emitted when Monit tries to
process content of event queue ... it opens each file in that
directory and if it's not valid stored event, it reports error, skips
this file and continues with another entries.
=> the error is non-critical - Monit works correctly including idfile
and statefile ... in order to stop the error messages just set the
idfile and statefile location to different directory and (re)move the
old files.
